I'm Going to Guess Danish

Came upon what looks like a very nice cat blog - in a language I don't speak. Granted, this isn't the first time that's happened, but Rasheed's owner translates some of his material and there are more photos.

Felis Silvestris Catus is in one of those Scandinavian languages with the odd ligatures, slashes through the "o"s and the like. Based on a couple .dk extensions and a link to "Danske katteblogs," I'm going to have to go with Danish.

At any rate, some nice pictures, including this amusing take on Munch - who was Norwegian, but close enough.

(On review, that image is from this collection of art parodies - famous artists painting their cats in their own particular styles. Worth a look.)

I have tried the following machine translation (M.T.) tool: Translation Guide (between English and Danish), but it returned all jibberish, because of the accented letters. Some parts, however, were translated, so I guess you are right. And there is, of course, the image link to blogbot.dk, which is a strong clue.

BTW My weblog about Rasheed has been translated into English on a very limited scale.

Yes, but some of it has been, and you've got great photos. And, I think, you were the first outside person to link to me, so there's a certain sentimental attachment there... :-)

You guessed correctly - my blog is indeen in Danish - and thanks for the very nice comments. Actualy it's been a while since I've updated it, and I think reading your post has just given me enough inspiration to get back to it soon - thanks!

Btw. love your cats - have just been browsing your site for a very short time, and already I'm hooked on those beautiful pictures of yours. The reason I have a cat-blog is simply because I haven't a cat, so the more I can read elsewhere, the better. I'm sure I'll be back! =o)
